Assignment 1: Carnival Interface design

We are required to design 3 different types of interface design depending on different types business nature listed below. The design must be based on criteria given.

      Cafe – Relax, romance and high class.

Logo

Introduction

I choose the "Maple Story Cafe", as for the interface design. I use the "Maple leaf" as the logo and I use the interior of the cafe as well as the chicken from the menu. 

Concept and Idea

My concept is to create relax and soothing environment for the website. Is to attract the customer wont feel too solemn. So I use more attractive fonts to design my cafe interface. My aim is to provide a excellent services with reasonable prices, yet provide my customer feel the surrounding to be more elegant and quiet for the great meal. My purpose is to give the  outstanding environment to the customers.

Colour 

I use the colour value to give the relax mood in the environment for the interface and give the customers the warm feeling.

Design Style and Interface Elements

For the background, I chose a interior of a cafe restaurant, made it blur in order to attract my customer to come over for a visit. For the main page, I placed a slide of cafe incoming event or promotions to attract customers. I also placed my cafe location in map for quick searching. Customer also able to like us on Facebook to get latest news or promotions. I also put some Awards of our cafe to let audience know our cafe meals are prepared by well trained and experienced chef. About the fonts, I use ''Starguides'' to bring out wooden feel to coordinate with my Maple Leaf Story Cafe name.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I made this website to let people know more about our cafe without coming straight to our outlets, but they can know when and how to get in touch with us from time to time. I created this website as simple as possible so my customer can search easily what they looking for.

      Introduction

This is my online game website design. I named it Exhaust Station. Exhaust Station is a game combined with racing car and weapon. 

Concept and Idea

I get the concept from few racing movies, combine the idea together to make a new futuristic and visual effects experiences game for audience and customers.  Its kind of a race war, smash opponents cars before reach target points. Its challenging and exciting.

Colour 

Since it is a high tech and quite violence game, the main colour I used in my gaming website interface is black. Colour black relates to the hidden, the secretive and the unknown, and a mystery. Assort with those following Images, screenshots and descriptions, I want to create an excited and brave danger ambience to let my customer feel the desire to own this game.

Design Style and Interface Elements

For the background, I chose the texture of tire drag over the water to create the splash, to create a high speed and violence racing among players. Instead of wallpaper, I chose to direct link our trailer video with youtube to let players experience with our realistic gaming environment. And also we have screenshots to HD wallpapers for fan collection. It is necessary to let player know our games developers and manufacturer background to convince our customer. For the logo, I named it ''RT Custom Exhaust'', its a name varied used for those racing car such as Dodge Challenger, Mustang Gt those old school design cars. Players are able to custom their own cars and weapons depend on their finance abilities.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I made this website to have the futuristic, challenging, and make it look entertaining and exciting to attract customers and audience.

     


      
      MTV video (Taylor Swift) – Sweet, energetic, Fantasy.

      Introduction

This is my MTV website design for Taylor Swift for interface design.

Concept and Idea

Follow the instructions, I designed my interface based on current MTV website. I arranged and add more features for audience selection such as the recent news, magazines cover and those latest mv of Taylor Swift to make it easier for fans to following.

Colour 

Since it is Taylor Swift MTV website, I chose the Taylor Swift artist favourite colour to match with Taylor Swift personality.

Design Style and Interface Elements

For the background, I chose purple colour that Taylor Swift favourite with her wallpaper. Assort with the column I filled with monochromatic and tint with purple colour. For layout, I placed a ''Search'' button so audience can search directly of what they looking for. Follow by the ''Recent News'', I placed her newest and top rated mv in the middle of layout for easy searching by audience. I columned each features with their own boxes to avoid mixed on each other.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I made this website for audience in simple and direct way. I hope this design style and interface elements can help the audience to visit this website frequently.
