I chose a human portrait with angry emotion based on assignment requirement to complete my Digital Painting
First of all we need to sketch out the outline of the human portrait using Wacom tablet , basically start with face, then eyes, mouth and other parts, categorised into own layer to avoid mistakes when touch up with colour.

Final Touch Up - Bloodstains
Overview:-
Background
Combined
The concept of my character is a man combined with zombies and butcher. I changed the cleaver to an axe that i drew myself to make the feel of horror and terrified.
I also changed the left hand of my character with a hook. Since he is a zombie-butcher, I imagined he is tortured and killed by someone or something that made him became disabled.
For the skin colour, I use darker skin tone to bring out the feel of corpse.
For the eye of my character, I draw with big eyeball in shape. For the eyes I coloured it with red color and black. The eyes are small in shape. I hope can bring out the feel of barbaric and anger. The expressions of his eye is felt like looking for something to kill, torture or revenge.
I also apply some bloodstain on the hook, axe and on the part of his body to add the feel of bloody and horror. The blood splash and blood stain all around the hook and axe.
